Terms and conditions

Last updated: 24 October 2026

These terms govern the use of the N·PLOT software and the purchase of its licences. By installing the app, activating a licence or buying a plan, you accept them.

This is a translation of the Spanish terms and conditions. If the two differ, the Spanish version prevails.

1. Owner

  • Owner: Alberto Merino de Vega, who sells the software under the name N·PLOT.
  • Tax ID (NIF): 02287150F
  • Address: Calle Virgen de las Cruces, 4, staircase 7, 1st floor, door C, 28041 Madrid (Spain)
  • Contact: hola@nplotapp.com

2. What N·PLOT is

N·PLOT is lighting visualization and documentation software for shows: fixture plots, signal and power plans, PDF reports and live visualization of the DMX data (sACN / Art-Net) your console sends. N·PLOT does not control lighting fixtures: it only reads and displays the information.

3. Licence to use

When you buy a plan you do not acquire the software, but a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use it, under the conditions of the plan you bought. All intellectual property rights in N·PLOT remain with its owner.

You may not:

  • share, resell or publish your licence key;
  • use the licence on more devices or simultaneous live sessions than your plan includes;
  • circumvent the licensing system, or decompile or modify the software, except where the law allows it.

4. Plans

  • Free trial: 14 days with every Pro Studio feature, no card needed. When it ends, the app switches to read-only mode until you activate a licence.
  • Pro Studio: monthly or yearly subscription. Includes 2 devices and 1 live session at a time. You can add 1 extra device, up to a maximum of 3.
  • Master Suite (Lifetime): one-off payment with the same device conditions as Pro Studio. Gives access with no expiry date to N·PLOT and its updates for as long as the product is still sold.
  • Team: yearly subscription per device, with a minimum of 5.
  • Enterprise & Touring: terms and price agreed in writing for each case.

Current prices and the content of each plan are published at nplotapp.com.

5. Price, payment and taxes

Prices are shown in euros and include VAT. The tax amount that applies depends on your country and is shown on the payment page.

Payment is made through Stripe Managed Payments. Under this model Stripe acts as the merchant of record for the transaction: it processes the payment, handles taxes and issues the invoice. By paying, you also accept the terms Stripe shows you during checkout.

6. Renewal and cancellation

Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period and are charged to the saved payment method.

You can cancel at any time from the management link you receive with your receipt, or by writing to us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid: until then you keep access, and no pro rata refunds are made.

If a renewal charge fails, Stripe will retry the payment for a few days. If it finally cannot be collected, the licence will be deactivated.

7. Right of withdrawal and refunds

If you buy as a consumer, you have the right to withdraw within 14 calendar days of the purchase, under the applicable consumer law and Stripe Managed Payments' refund process. To exercise it, write to hola@nplotapp.com.

By activating the licence before that period ends, you expressly request that performance begins. In that case, the limits on withdrawal that the law sets for digital content already supplied apply.

8. Live use and safety

N·PLOT is a support tool. In particular:

  • Live: the visualization may suffer delays or interruptions caused by the network, the device or the console. It must not be used as the only system for monitoring the show.
  • Power and cabling calculations: they are a guide only. They do not replace the calculation or inspection of a qualified electrician, nor compliance with the applicable electrical regulations.
  • User responsibility: the safety of the installation and of the show is the responsibility of those who rig and operate them.

9. Your data and your shows

The shows, plots, patches and reports you create with N·PLOT are yours and are stored on your device. We recommend keeping backups. The processing of personal data is explained in the Privacy policy.

10. Online validation

The licence is validated periodically against the N·PLOT server. The app keeps working offline for a grace period of up to 30 days from the last successful validation.

We may suspend a licence if we detect fraudulent use or use contrary to these terms. We will warn you first, unless the case is urgent.

11. Warranty and liability

We work to make N·PLOT work correctly, but we cannot guarantee that it is free of errors or compatible with every console, fixture or piece of equipment.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the licence in the 12 months before the event giving rise to it. We are not liable for loss of profit or indirect damage. Nothing above limits the rights the law grants consumers, or liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

12. Changes to the service and to these terms

We may update N·PLOT and these terms. If a change affects you significantly, we will let you know in advance. If you do not agree, you can cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, the courts of your place of residence will have jurisdiction. In all other cases, the courts of Madrid.
